Chocolate Outline.

Chocolate.
I.              Definition.
A.   Is a raw or processed food produced from the seed of the tropical theobroma cacao tree.
II.            Body.
History of Chocolate.

B.   Mesoamerica History.
1.    Cacao is a product of the New World.
2.    Cacao is cultivated for at least three millennia in Mexico, Central and South America.

C.   European Adaptation.
3.    Cacao is imported into Europe in the 16th century where became popular.
4.    The cacao was processed for the Europeans at the way that we known today.


III.           Classifications of Chocolate.
5.    There are several types of chocolate according to the proportion of cocoa used in a particular formulation. For example:
-Unsweetened chocolate
-Dark chocolate.
-Semisweet chocolate.
-Milk chocolate
-Raw chocolate.
-Cocoa powder.
-White chocolate.


    IV. Conclusion.
D.   In conclusion, Chocolate is a raw processed food produced form the seed of the tropical theobroma cacao tree. It is a product of the New World that was imported to Europe where became popular.
  V. Recipe Bavarian Mints.

 Ingredients
·         3 cups milk Chocolate Chips.  
·         1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, chopped
·         1 tablespoon butter
·         1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
·         1 teaspoon peppermint extract
·         1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
Butter an 8x8 inch dish.
Step One: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine milk chocolate chips, unsweetened chocolate and butter. Heat until melted and smooth, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in condensed milk, peppermint extract and vanilla extract.
Step Two: Beat with an electric mixer at a low speed for 1 minute, then at a high speed for 1 minute. Chill mixture for 15 minutes, beating by hand every 5 minutes. Beat again with electric mixer two minutes more. Pour into prepared pan and chill until firm. Cut into 1/2 inch squares.
